Now Scouting Artists

Trace Society is looking for artists.

Not because we need someone to put a logo on a product. Not because we're looking for a particular style. And not because we want to tell artists what their work should look like.

We're looking for people with something to say.

Trace was built around the idea that culture is created by people not companies. Artists, skaters, musicians, designers, photographers, makers, and everyone else who puts something into the world leave behind pieces of themselves along the way.

That's what interests us.

We're looking for artists who...

Create because they have something they want to express.

Work across different mediums, styles, and disciplines.

Are connected to their local communities.

See things differently.

Make things by hand, on a screen, on a wall, on a board, through a camera, or wherever their ideas take them.

You don't need a huge following.

You don't need a polished portfolio.

You don't need to fit into a particular aesthetic.

We care more about the work and the person behind it.

What we're building

Trace is creating a growing community of artists and creators whose work can exist beyond a single post or collaboration.

That could mean artwork on a skateboard deck. A limited piece. A collaboration. An interview. A feature in the Trace Journal. A project with another artist. Or simply giving people a place to discover your work.

We're interested in building relationships, not collecting names.
